The day people see their realatives, (some obnoxious, some nice.) watch a parade, play football, slave over a hot stove (if they happen to be female), and overstuff themselves on poor innocent turkeys.

Personally I think he could look slightly more insane. And more haggard. But that may be just me. I love this guy and this character, so we'll have to see how it turns out. The costume and makeup are subject to change anyway.

Czech version Alice in Wonderland

It's called "Alice" and its awesome. It was done in stop motion mostly. Its demented, and gosh dernit AMAZING. Here is the vid..I wanna buy the whole DVD SO bad...

Tim Burton's New Alice in Wonderland Movie

Okay, so I'm excited about this one. Tim Burton is directing it. Linda Woolverton is doing the screenplay. It seems like she's done alot of good stuff...Lion King, for instance. Here's the cast according to IMDb :

Alice: Mia Wasikowska

Mad Hatter : Johnny Depp (YES! I adore him)

The White Queen : Anne Hathaway (I like her. Though I think the white queen should be portrayed by someone a bit older)

The Red Queen : Helena Bonham Carter (She was Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. What more is there to say?)

The Cheshire Cat : Michael Sheen (Not sure how happy I am about this one yet.)

The Knave of Hearts. Crispin Glover (I woulda gone slightly younger, but he looks a-ight)

Cheshire Kitty

Because I named my blog after kitty (kitty is my friend's word for Cheshire, which I adopted), I thought I'd do a post dedicated to him. Yes, Kitty is traditionally a boy *sigh*. Okay, so here I go.. (Warning, this will probably be pretty image heavy)








The Cheshire Cat is the first character one thinks of when they think of Alice in Wonderland (other than Alice herself, of course). Cheshire is very helpful to Alice, though he sometimes waxes a little too philosophical for Alice to grasp. She first meets him at the Duchesses', and then he appears in the branches of a tree, and then later at the Queen of Heart's court as they play croquet. The king and the executioner then have an argument about whether or not you can behead a body-less cat. Because, of course the Cheshire Cat can dissapear and re-appear at will, which sometimes vexes Alice.




Because Cheshire is not an actuall breed of cat, Carrol probably got the inspiration for kitty from the English county of Cheshire, which was famous for its cheese, among other things. The Cheshire Cat is probably based on the British Shorthair, which was the mascot for Cheshire Cheese.

American Mgee's Alice is a really cool computer game. Its kind of a demented version of Alice in

Going Away!

Yea. I'll be going out of town tomorrow (Friday). I'm going to Pennsylvania for a cousin of mine's B-day party..she's turning four. My entire family is going...exept maybe Dad...idk if he can get off work. So anyway, since Christmas is fast approaching, I thought I'd get started on my gifts.
